Framework Agreement for Pipeline Engineering & Project Management Services (PMS)

Within the context of ENch Group framework agreement with Snam Rete Gas, Italy’s leader in the transport and dispatching of natural gas, we carry out numerous projects requiring engineering and project management services. Nawara Pipeline Project

The objective of the Nawara Development Project is to recover the associated and non-associated gas reserves from the Nawara Concession. ENch Group is carrying out the detailed design activities as well as technical procurement support and field activities for:

1: Gas Pipeline ND 24” from Nawara to Gabès GTP (KP 0 – 370) from pig launcher at Nawara CPF to the pig receiver at Gabès GTP, including n. 12 break line valve stations.

2: Condensate Export Pipeline ND 6” (KP 0–12) from Nawara pig launcher to a tie-in point (hot tap) on the existing TRAPSA pipeline.

ENch Group carried out the detailed design and supports the client’s procurement department, carrying vendor list vetting, preparation of ITT packages (commercial and technical documents), management of vendor document flow, technical bid evaluations and post-order supplier document follow-up and review.

Ragusa-Gela Oil pipeline

This feasibility study concerns a new pipeline (10”, 55km) designed to carry oil from the “Centro Olio ENIMED” at Ragusa to the ENI refinery at Gela, with retrofitting of the concerned existing plants and interfaces, the mechanical connections necessary, and the addition of essential equipment necessary for the safe operation of the line. The study included a CAPEX estimation and a preliminary project report for presentation to the interested authorities.

Cervignano-Mortara Natural Gas Pipeline ND 56”, DP 75 bar, 61 km

The project consists of the basic and detailed design to replace an existing natural gas pipeline as well as the replacement and of a series of branch points. ENch Group activities included the feasibility study, basic and detailed design and site surveys.

LPG pipeline LZ2 24’’ Hassi R’mel-Arzew

Client: Saipem for Sonatrach

The project consisted of a new 24″ pipeline, about 500 km long, to convey LPG at a flow rate of 6÷9 MTA (1350÷ 2025 m³/h).The project also included:

  • A new pumping station for the new 24’’ (LZ2) and existing 24’’ (LZ1) pipelines located at Hassi R’mel,complete with high grade filtration system (cartridge and basket filters).
  • 1 pig launching and receiving station.
  • 1 pig launching and receiving station with emergency block valves at Sougueur.
  • 29 block valves.
  • pressure reducing/control at Arzew station.

ENch Group carried out the bid engineering, basic and detailed design, assistance to procurement activities, supplier follow-up and expediting assistance as well as electric and mechanical works supervision (PMS). Aslo included: HAZOP and water hammer analysis.
